Important Notes Before You Start

• Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, you cannot recover your account or its data.

• Posts and comments remain. Deleting your account does not automatically remove your posts and comments. These will stay on Reddit but will be attributed to an anonymous "deleted" user.

• Backup your data. If you want to save any account details or content, download your data before deleting your account.

Steps to Delete Your Reddit Account

1. Log In to Your Account

• Open Reddit in a browser (desktop is recommended for this process).

• Log in to the account you wish to delete.
